3. Remove content duplicates

Find possible content duplicates. Figure 13 MOCCA report.

Confirm using SbS test (95% threshold). Figure 12 MOCCA report.

Compares the distance in space and time between the profiles (3 km, 3 days). Uses prof_compnear.m

  • If the profiles are nearby delete worst profile (this can also point out to errors in the metadata)
  • If the profiles are far away delete both profiles

Obs. The content duplicate checks, as the metadata duplicate checks, are done inside each box only. The update for the Nordic Seas (v2019) included this check looking for duplicates in all the boxes together but all the duplicates were found inside the same box. Therefore, checking for content duplicates in all boxes is skipped.
