Hello, teacher! I have a question. Can Smudgeplot be used to predict the situation of decaploids (ten-ploid organisms)?

Hi @casusr, sorry about the late response.

Indeed it can if the genome plays the ball (of course higher the ploidy more difficult it gets). Do you have any decaploids? Did you run it through smudgeplot already?

Thank you for your reply, I have run it, but the result is not ideal, the highest prediction is heptaploid.
