Build Instruction: 3D Printed Parts
We are maintaining ~two ish versions of the 3D-printed ISS models. Low Fidelity (LoFi) and High Fidelity (HiFi). The Low Fidelity prints are easy to print and very strong, but they lack a lot of the design details that make the ISS unique.
The High Fidelity prints range from not too tricky to very difficult to print, and they sacrifice strength for aesthetics, meaning they can experience structural failure much more easily. But they look great and allow a lot more insight into the ISS design.
In our 3D Printing Folder we have every major ISS "element" broken out into separate folders. Each file will be named LoFi_something.stl or HiFi_something.stl to denote what fidelity that model is. So you can just go through every folder and print out all of the files for whichever build you want (can mix and match too). The HiFi build is still not anywhere close to complete, the current status can be seen at the CAD model overhaul status.
