Hello! My name is Gavin, but I go by corigan01 online.

I am working on an open source operating system project named AloeVera. My goal is to explore novel and interesting ways of re-imagining common systems we use every day. Operating system design has mostly been stuck in the early 1970s and 1980s, but it doesn't have to be this way! 🤓

  • I am currently attending Kansas State University.
  • I have been diligent in aiding the adoption of the Rust Programming Language at K-State!
  • I am a huge advocate for people getting into building open source, and for people adopting open source software.
  • I love helping educate and teach software development.
