Is there an example of a consumer indicating the SASLMechanism?

I use this example https://github.com/segmentio/kafka-go/blob/main/examples/consumer-logger/main.go
I added connection parameters as best I can, but it doesn't work.

error ReadLag: failed to dial: EOF

I only used it for Writing but... have you tried calling the dialer to see if there is something wrong with it?
