Hello, I am a student at the University of Washington, and I'm currently working on this project.
The file "preprocess_visualize_NGSIM_US101data.mlx" given in the instruction indicated an error when I ran it:
Unrecognized function or variable 'add_time_step_column'. Is the method documented?

That function is inside the Utils folder, just add it to your path. Please let me know if it does not work.
