Rosetta API?

The Getty Research Institute uses Ex Libris's Rosetta platform. We built a METS to IIIF conversion:

But yours seems much more robust! We could look at merging functionality?

Sorry for responding so late, somehow I missed the issue notification for this one...
Do you have some publicly available example METS files from Rosetta? Then I could try them out with my code and see what I can use from the tool you linked.

A major difference that I can see right now is that demetsiiify does not convert/store images of its own, it merely redirects to the original JPEG images that are hosted by the originating institution. However, this is currently just for financial reasons (currently the app is running on a cheap VPS with 40GB storage), I'd have no problem with integrating (optional) conversion/storage of images.
