Hi,

couple of years ago, I created the clock and had it in storage for a while now and want to let it come back to life now. What I built that time, was a 24 hour version of the clock, with what I think was your code back then (like 3-4 years ago) - that was code, natively working with the regular setup though. What I mean with that is, that I have it wired like in here: DIYMachines - just with 5 extra stripes on the left to be able to also display the number 2 for the 24-hour layout. I do however not have any stripes in between the 7-segment-parts. I also do have 9 LED's per Segment, while I think you have 12 per segment now?

Can I still "upgrade" my version and replace the Arduino and the RTC with the ESP32 and use your code to be able to be more flexible with animations + added benefits like changing between summer time and winter time in Germany? Or would I need to have it wired like in your docs?

Thanks!
