Option to preload previous / next image in the same folder?

Is it possible to add an option to preload pre/next images in the same folder? I noticed when using the previous - next image in the nav panel (or with mouse) is a bit slow.

This would really increase the responsiveness of your excellent program!

Yes, it's possible to do that. This feature will be available in the one of the future major releases.
