how is it possible to enjoy symlinks when downloading flags to use locally in our project?

If you are using Windows, you can run git clone https://github.com/HatScripts/circle-flags in a command prompt with administrator privileges.

But first you must make sure Git is installed with symbolic link support:

If you don't wish to reinstall Git then perhaps you could try the global or local setting here.
