Commented by: Jeremy Stevens (need4openid) I've followed Firebird embedded on Linux HOWTO, but when I try isql or sample DB application, I'm getting this kind of error: Statement failed, SQLSTATE = 08006 I'm able neither to create database nor connect to employee.fdb. |

Like on Windows, allow local connections to database without properly installed server (to allow portable version).
