Hi,

I wanted to change from NetSpeedmonitor, that hasn't been updated since 2010 to OpenNetMeter. Unfortunately ONM doesn't have such a well integrated mini widget like NetSpeedmonitor does, which is a TaskBar function.

I would love to see an update there, for me to change. Do you think you could do this?

Hi @amaru7 , you can actually change the mini widget's background color.
Go to the settings tab,
Select Dark mode for a dark background and white font.
Select transparent for a transparent background.

And @amaru7 , regarding the integration of the speed meter in the taskbar. I implemented that before, but decided to replace it with this moveable mini widget. The reason for this decision is explained here

It would be great if there were an option to fix the position of the widget, to avoid accidental movements. This would not cover all use cases for an integrated solution, but at least in my case, there is almost no need to adjust the position ever, since my taskbar on the right side has almost always the same width / same amount of shown tray icons.
